Publication Ethics

1. Review Process

1.1. All submitted manuscripts undergo a comprehensive review to assess their quality, originality, and contribution to the field.
1.2. JoES implements a double-blind peer review system, ensuring that both reviewers and authors remain anonymous throughout the process.
1.3. Reviewers evaluate the consistency between the manuscript’s title, abstract, discussion, and conclusion.
1.4. The assessment also includes the examination of methodological soundness, scientific contribution, and relevance to the journal’s scope.
1.5. Each manuscript is reviewed by experts with appropriate academic backgrounds to ensure a fair and professional evaluation.

2. Editorial Responsibilities

2.1. The editorial team is responsible for determining which manuscripts are suitable for publication following a rigorous internal and external evaluation process.
2.2. Editorial decisions are based on scholarly merit and alignment with the journal’s aims, policies, and publication ethics.
2.3. Editors are required to uphold impartiality, ensuring that all submissions are evaluated fairly without discrimination based on race, gender, religion, ethnicity, nationality, or ideology.
2.4. Editors and editorial staff must maintain confidentiality and must not disclose any details about submitted manuscripts to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, or publisher representatives.
2.5. Unpublished materials contained in a submitted manuscript may not be used by editors for their own research purposes.

3. Reviewer Responsibilities

3.1. Reviewers assist the editorial board in making informed publication decisions and help authors improve the quality of their manuscripts.
3.2. They must provide objective, constructive, and detailed feedback within the agreed review timeframe.
3.3. Reviewers are expected to identify relevant published works that have not been cited and to alert the editor about any potential ethical issues or plagiarism.
3.4. All review materials and communications must be treated as strictly confidential.
3.5. Reviewers must not use the information obtained from manuscripts for personal advantage or research benefit.

4. Author Responsibilities

4.1. Authors must present accurate, original, and verifiable research findings without fabrication, falsification, or plagiarism.
