Discusses the differences in hadith studies in the West and in the East as well as views on the sanad al-hadith and the matn al-hadith. In addition, it also discusses the rebuttal of the Orientalist theory. The approach of this article uses the study of literature studies (Library Research) using qualitative-descriptive methods and approaches. The results of this study indicate that Orientalist views on the hadith are the same, namely criticizing the authenticity of the hadith in terms of both sanad, matn, and rawi. The subjectivity of Orientalists who at least keep their own missions to corner Islam behind the lens of orientalism, which is actually a neo-colonialism over the Eastern hemisphere, especially the Islamic region as their goal of studying the hadith. Disclaimers made by the hadith scholars such as Azami in order to destroy their theories based on depth research and justified scientifically.
Abd. The choice of the title theme is due to the phenomenon of some Muslims who aggressively campaign forbidden grave pilgrimage for women. Among them there are those who forbid, there are those who forbid, and there are those who allow it. This phenomenon makes the writer interested in exploring the hadiths about the grave pilgrimage for women. And it will be very interesting to study more deeply the perspective of the science of Takhrijul Hadith. The research methodology that I use is descriptive qualitative using a type of library research approach. The results of this study indicate that the hadiths about the grave pilgrimage for women have various editors who have different wurud asbabul so their interpretations need to be compared so that they can be used proportionally and fairly.
Darsitun Darsitun, Khariri Khariri, Darojat Darojat ##submission.copyrightStatement## Tue, 16 Jun 2020 12:18:24 +0700 Al Jarh wa At-Ta'dil in Researching Sanad Hadits
In Islam, the hadith has apposition as the number two source of Islamic law after the Qur'an. However, not all hadiths can be used immediately. There are hadiths that are not used as a legal basis, because after investigation, it turns out that certain hadiths do not originate from the Prophet Muhammad PBUH. Using a literature survey, this article found that the science of Jarh wa ta'dil is a science used to find out the negative and positive nature of the narrators of the hadith which has an influence on the quality of the narration that was narrated. By mastering the science of jarh wa ta'dil, it can select which hadiths are authentic and which are not valid, especially in terms of the quality of the narrators of the hadith, not in terms of obedience. There are several methods that have been studied and determined by the scholars in explaining the narrators' narration of the hadith, both in a defective state and in a tsiqah state. Among these are: Honesty in providing judgments, careful in researching and evaluating someone, paying attention to ethics and manners in the jarh, and mentioning the causes of disability or weakness of narrators of the hadith. The scholars of jarh wa ta'dil disagree regarding the statements of the problem of jarh wa ta'dil regarding their assesment of narrators of the hadith. Some scholars give a negative value and some others rate positively. If for example it happens in such a way, then further research is needed that is more directed to the truth. In examining the hadith, especially regarding the character of the narrators of the hadith, it is obligatory to refer to several references, so that the results of the research can be objective. Therefore, this article recommends further research, specifically how to implement the theory of jarh wa ta'dil in determining good leaders in this globalization era.

Heru Widodo, Fahmi Irfanudin ##submission.copyrightStatement## Wed, 17 Jun 2020 20:25:51 +0700 Authority of History and Sharah Hadith Thaqalayn (Sunnah Itrah)
The Hadith Thaqalayn (al-Qur'an and Ahl al-Bayt) is one of the hadiths which is the central point of the difference in manhaj between Ahl al-Sunnah and Shi'ah. By referring to this hadith, a religious theology according to ahl al-Bayt claimed by the Shi'ah. The thaqalayn hadith is the hadith of Ahl al-Sunnah, one of which was narrated by the Muslim Imam who told that the Prophet had a testament so that Muslims cling to the Qur'an so that they do not get lost. Then the Prophet in the hadith thaqalayn also has a testament so that Muslims always protect the rights of ahl al-Bayt so as not to abuse them. The Shi'ah turns out that when they understand this hadith differently from Ahl al-Sunnah, they argue that the consequence of adhering to thaqalayn is to appoint them as leaders of the ummah because leaders must provide guidance, and ahl al-Bayt is a guide for Muslims. Therefore, by using the library research method (literature study), in this paper we will try to describe the historical authority of several thaqalayn hadiths narrated by the hadith imams, as well as discuss the meaning content of thaqalayn hadith or sunnah itrah by referring to comments the scholars of hadith in the books of rijal and sharah hadith.
Sanip Nasrullah ##submission.copyrightStatement## Mon, 09 Nov 2020 16:35:45 +0700
